Nice 1974 TY 175. Starts easily, pulls strongly through all 6 gears, runs and stops just the way it should.
New controls ( levers, bars, and throttle); it also comes with a reproduction TY175 seat cover that is uninstalled. Sammy Miller aftermarket footpeg kit makes for a more secure grip on the pegs. Motor has some top end ticking noise that is louder when first starting the bike, but recedes when things are warmed up. The tank is in good condition; one small depression on the side, and some paint fading from knee rub. Overall, a very solid TY175; just ridden at the Hollister Ahrma National earlier this month. 2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results
Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
