1973 Yamaha DT1 250cc Runs strong,clutch and trans work properly.Along with this bike comes a Yamaha XT250 non runner(dropped valve) with almost new tires.Chrome .seat ,tank,exhaust ,side covers etc very good.Also included is another off road frt fender.Also triple tree and forks from a mid-late 70s YZ 250.And a little 50cc Yamaha.See pics.DT1 has clear title others do not.DT1 starts and runs good.I run it with the XT tank as it's tank needs cleaning.Mileage shows 6243.Do not know if that is correct,speedo and odometer work but is missing glass and rubber.Tanks has a few dents.Please look at pics and ask questions,I answer asap.I do not ship but can assist on this end.I have a new battery ordered.Bike has the tool kit..These are getting harder to find especially survivers like this. Included but not shown in pics is buddy seat in good condition.

Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.

Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.
Yamaha Trademarks YZF-R3
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Yamaha has filed for a trademark with the European Union for the names “YZF-R3” and “R3“. The trademark applications were filed Jan. 6 and are still under review, but once approved, we should expect Yamaha to introduce a new YZF-R3 soon after.
