Yamaha Other description

Up for sale is my 1972 Yamaha at1 125. Is in very good condition always stored inside.fresh wesco piston and rings, new battery, fresh oil change, new 25ml carburetor, new turbo air cleaner . Only two hours on rebuild and then bike stopped getting a spark at the sparkplug, so it is currently not running, probably an issue with voltage regulator. When running the bike has great power and idles great. Also put new points and condenser in it. Paint is not all original, but nice, tires are in good shape, guages work properly and head lamp, front turning signals appear to be taken off, and I installed the luggage rack and signals on the back, looks good. This is a numbers matching bike, I have clean title in hand, just looking for extra holiday money. Thanks for reading and happy holidays. Cash due at pickup preferred. Buyer is responsible for pickup in Romulus, mi, 48174. May be able to deliver up to 150 miles for fifty dollar gas fee.

Off-Road Riding on a Yamaha Zuma 125 [Video]

Mon, 24 Sep 2012

Off-road capability isn’t the first thing people consider when shopping for a scooter but it is one of the more surprising traits of the Yamaha Zuma 125. In his review of the Zuma 125, Tom Roderick says the scooter “radiates a more adventurous attitude” than most scooters, with its knobby tires and hand guards making it capable for the odd excursion off the pavement. But if you’re still not convinced, Yamaha‘s Taiwanese arm has released a video featuring the Zuma 125 (or BWS 125, as it is known internationally) getting rough and rugged in the dirt.

Yamaha Gets Monster Energy MotoGP Team Sponsorship, Annuls Lorenzo’s RockStar Sponsorship Deal

Fri, 21 Dec 2012

Yamaha has reportedly signed energy drink maker Monster Energy to sponsor its factory MotoGP team, according to Spanish site MotoCuatro.com. The new sponsorship deal created a bit of a problem however, as Yamaha‘s star rider Jorge Lorenzo recently signed a two-year contact extension to his personal sponsorship deal with RockStar, a rival energy drink maker. To get around this sticky situation, MotoCuatro reports Yamaha will invoke a clause in Lorenzo’s contract allowing the manufacturer to veto and buy out his RockStar contract.
