Yamaha Other description
You must have at least 5 feedbacks to bid or your bid will be cancelled, sorry but due to past EBAY experiences that is the way it is. CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS PLEASE! NICE LOW MILE YAMAHA ENDURO. THIS STILL HAS ALL THE TURN SIGNALS ( USAUALLY LONG GONE). THE TOOL KIT AND BAFFLE ARE THEY TOO. THIS BIKE IS AS FOUND...I DID NOT CLEAN THIS UP, SO IT COULD LOOK EVEN BETTER. I GOT IT HOME AND DRAINED THE OLD GAS...AND PUT IN FRESH GAS...KICKED IT AND AWAY IT WENT! NO NEW PLUGS, NO CARB CLEANING JUST PLAIN LUCKED OUT. LIGHTS TACH AND SPEEDO ALL WORK AND THEY ARE VERY UNFADED. IT HAS THAT GREAT SNARLY, AGGRESSIVE, YAMAHA RING-A-DING TWO-STROKE SOUND. THE THROTTLE RESPONSE IS VERY QUICK. THIS LOOKS LIKE THE ORIGINAL TIRES SO MILAGE IS MOST LIKELY CORRECT ( JUDJING BY WEAR ON KICKER RUBBER, CABLE AND OTHER ADJUSTMENTS). HERE ARE THE LOW POINTS...FRONT BRAKE NEEDS ADJUSTMENT (SLOWS BUT DOESN'T STOP) TANKS IS LINED BUT LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN DONE AS A PREVENTATIVE MEASURE ( NOT RUST INSIDE-IT IS THE RED TYPE THAT MATCHES THE TANK COLOR-IT IS NOT PEELING) SEAT HAS SOME TEARS ALONG RIGHT HAND SIDE AT THE BOTTOM. ONE DING ON RIGHT SIDE OF THE TANK. OVER ALL A NICE SURVIVOR MOTORCYLE...MOST OF THESE WERE TAKEN ON THE TRAILS USED UP. 4/72 BUILD DATE. YAMAHA CT1 175CC. NO TITLE, BILL OF SALE CAN BE PROVIDED. THIS IS A 44 YEAR OLD MOTORCYLE IT HAS RUST, NICKS, AND SCRATCHES, AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. IF YOU EXPECT NEW THEN GO TO THE DEALERSHIP AND BUY NEW, IF ON THE OTHER HAND, YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE LOW MILE CLASSIC THIS COULD BE THE ONE FOR YOU.
SHIPPING CAN BE EXPENSIVE! LOOK INTO SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE BIDDING! SHIPPING COSTS AND ARRANGEMENTS ARE THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY...I WILL HELP LOAD ON TO A TRUCK. |

EICMA 2008: First Impressions
Mon, 03 Nov 2008I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
