Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
Here is Another bike up for auction from my father collection. This bike was purchased by the original owner who used it every other month otherwise it was stored in a garage. My father has kept this bike up to running speed and hopes the new owner will enjoy it like he has.
This Auction is for a 1972 Yamaha LT2 100 Enduro, matching number bike, low miles and 1 owner. The bike runs great and sounds good, and shifts through all gears. All the lights work, including the horn etc, but will need a new battery. Chrome is nice on the bike but there is some light pitting on the forks. Seat looks good and do not see any damage of any sort, to the pan or the seat. Gas tank looks good inside and out, but does have one rub mark on the back left of the gas tank. Inside is clean. Bike does come with a key, and the original tool kit shown in the pictures. Tires look good and hold air. Throttles feels good, brakes etc all work great. Pictures do not give the bike justice on how clean a 44 year old bike can be. If you have any questions please ask, and i will answer to the best of my knowledge. This bike does NOT come with a title and only bill of sale from me. This bike is SOLD AS IS ALL SALES FINAL. Buyer must pay within 3 days by paypal or can pay in cash if they decide to pick the bike up in person, or have a shipper of there choosing to pick the bike up. I can hold the bike only for short period of time ONLY if bike is paid in full. Thank you for looking and happy bidding. GOOD LUCK! |

Yamaha Europe "Switches On" Plans for Electric Mobility
Tue, 08 Mar 2022Details for electric NEO's to come in the weeks ahead Yamaha Motor Europe outlined its plans for electric two-wheelers, revealing a range of scooters, bicycles and a moped. The announcement confirmed our report last week that it would include an electric scooter called the “NEO’s”, but the 50cc-equivalent model was only scratching the surface. The presentation provided a general outline of Yamaha’s approach to electrification, though it did leave us wanting more.
Yamaha will give a third wheel to its scooter
Sun, 05 May 2019The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.

Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
