Yamaha Other description
1970 Yamaha L5T Trailmaster barn find motorcycle for sale!
This unique 100cc 2 stroke motorcycle has been in the hands of one family since it was taken from the dealership. With only 3,857 original miles, it is begging to be brought back to life. This bike was never ridden on the road due to there never being a title. Despite the bike losing it's seat over the years, everything else is original and complete. The right side handlebar controls are still with the bike, however, as you can see, they are not currently attached. A spare set of left side handlebar controls along with a small bundle of other extra spare bits come with the bike as well. When inspecting the bike, you will find the motor kicks over well and for it's age, the exhaust (and bike in general) is in good condition. No pinholes noted. The exhaust is one of the cleanest we have come across with 2 screws that have been snapped off, we expect they should come out easily however. 2 screws missing to attach the headlight front to the bucket as well. This bike never contained turn signals since it was not a street bike. There is not a lot of information on this particular motorcycle but seems to be well-loved nonetheless. We encourage you to search for yourself! Buyer is responsible for shipping or picking up bike. $150.00 downpayment required to ensure purchase of bike. |

Michael Alan Duff/Michelle Ann Duff
Wed, 29 Dec 2010Spotted the link to this short film on a Dutch blog. It's beautifully shot/directed and captures GP rider Mike Duff's recovery from a horrific hip and pelvis injury suffered at the Japanese GP which cost him a six month stay in hospital. Watching him push-start makes you wince just imagining the pain he must have been in.
The Pursuit of Yamaha-ness – A Message from Yamaha’s CEO
Thu, 10 Jan 2013Yamaha must “pursue true Yamaha-ness and break out of our old norms” if it hopes to increase profitability, says Hiroyuki Yanagi, the company’s president and chief executive officer. In an open letter released by Yamaha, Yanagi discussed what his company needed to do in order to reach its goal of producing 12 million units this year and collecting 2 trillion yen (US$22.5 billion) in sales. Yanagi’s message offered little in specific details but provided a glimpse of Yamaha’s overall strategy for the next few years.
Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200
Fri, 16 May 2014Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
