1966 Yamaha Yg1, With Title on 2040-motos
Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
Yamaha sold these YG1's worldwide. They were fast little bikes. The 75cc Rotary Valve 2 stroke has a wide power band with good bottom end and its reliable and low maintenance. Its a 4 speed with clutch and it has oil injection. Magneto Ignition even operates the lights with no battery. A Mikuni carb makes for easy starts. It has grease fitting at all the service points and a good airbox. This bike has knobby tires and has been ridden in the Oregon Coast Range. Its been stored nice since the 70's. Its tuned and serviced now and runs perfect. Nearly every piece on the bike has been painted obviously. It runs perfect and everything works smoothly. Not street legal: No battery to operate horn, inadequate lights, Off Road Tires. Finishing some other stuff I will add on. Working on the stock Tailight possibly more.
