Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
If you want a bike that does it all then the FZ1 should be somewhere on your shopping list, preferably near the top. An everyday-comfortable machine with standard-bike ergonomics and a stylish quarter-fairing. Its powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, double overhead camshaft inline-Four engine sourced from the mighty YZF-R1, though slightly retuned for sharper midrange performance. Yamaha didnt just hit a home run with the FZ1, it socked a grand slam! For once, a manufacturer built a standard-style model around a sportbike engine and didnt dumb it down by sapping most of its exciting performance. That resulted in the FZ1 being about as entertaining as 2 wheels and an engine can get. This bike is a winner of Cycle World magazines Best Pre-owned Bikes. It is pretty easy to see why since this machine is all of the above. This bike has a GYTR aftermarket exhaust, is completely serviced and inspected.
