New bar ends Along with all of these installed upgrades I kept all original parts that will come with the bike. This bike runs great and can be trusted to go anywhere or any distance. Mon, 30 Sep 2013The 2013 AMA Pro Superbike has just wrapped up its season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Josh Hayes dominating the race and his teammate, Josh Herrin, finishing second to clinch his first AMA Superbike championship. Not long after the checkered flag waved did Yamaha announce some big changes for the upcoming 2014 season. First and foremost, Herrin will be departing for Moto2 next year, fulfilling his desire to compete on the world stage.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Lovely new R1 cans from Harris
Thu, 30 Sep 2010Harris Performance has just unveiled their new slip-on silencers and carbon composite heat shield for the 2009/10 Yamaha R1. Made to the usual Harris standards the cans are created from stainless steel and titanium. The silencers have fully removable baffles helping your R1 to breathe more easily and produce a fruity exhaust note.
