Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
2009 Yamaha FZ1, You have heard it before from middle aged guys that remember the Japanese performance bikes from the late 70s and early 80s. Just give me a modern, standard style motorcycle . . . something with modern suspension, a modern, liquid cooled motor, a stiff chassis and great brakes. The Yamaha FZ1 takes standards, or nakeds, to a new level in terms of modern chassis and suspension design, handling and braking. The engine is derived from Yamahas already legendary R1 sportbike, the FZ1 mill is a modern, five valve per cylinder, liquid cooled engine with high peak horsepower,{about 120 plus HP}, and a relatively broad torque curve. Braking is another area that sets the FZ1 apart from the competition. Taking its brakes directly from the R1, the FZ1 hauls you to a stop as quickly as you dare. The seating position is upright and comfortable compared to most sportbikes.Basically, the FZ1 is a fun do-it-all motorcycle with loads of power, very competent handling and great brakes. It is the standard those middle age guys have been asking for all these years. Here is your chance to own one, call today! Be sure to visit brennys dot com to see this, and other motorcycles and ATVs! We are your one stop store for your all your powersport needs!

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
The Japanese oddity to naming teams
Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
