2009 Yamaha Fz1 , Beautiful Bike, Only 5531 Miles. One owner, always garaged, well maintained by local shop. Never any mechanical problems. No moving accidents. Bought new in 2010, first week I owned the beast I stopped on a county highway to take it's picture and didn't remember the kickstand until it was a hair too late. That left 2 minor blemishes. Has several other very minor scuffs. Most miles on fair weather Iowa highways. Between 2k and 5K miles I had slightly stickier tires on the bike and hauled it to 2 track day weekends. The bike has way more capability than I do -- I was the slowest one on the track. So current tires are the originals with about 2.5 K on them. Only accessory added are the black tank grippers. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.
