2009 Yamaha Fz on 2040-motos
Yamaha FZ tech info

Yamaha FZ description
This is a 2009 Yamaha FZ6R with 7900 miles which can go up if I ride any. I am the second owner, to my knowledge it has never been wrecked or dropped. I repainted the tank because the graphics had pink in it and it was under the clear coat. The tank paint job is not top quality but not bad either. You can still see the silhouette of the graphics but not color. There is a scratch on the front fender that was there when I bought it. It had the fender eliminator done prior to me buying.
I just replaced the tires, they are new Continental ContiMotions. I have added a Zero Gravity Windscreen, ZX6R look Carbon Fiber wrapped mirrors, flush mount turn signals, a K&N Filter, and a 1up front sprocket. I have a tank paint protector I never put on and a set of 04-06 R6 headers. To make an aftermarket exhaust all you need is a slip on for the headers. Pickup Only, will not ship. |

Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
