I am selling my 1995 Yamaha FZR 600 Turbo. It's been a blast to ride since owning it, but now I'd have to sell it as I have too many toys and I need the space on my garage.When I 1st bought it about two years ago, it was pretty much parts and pieces. I built it back up and got it running good. This bike has never been wrecked nor layed down.Not perfect but its clean, runs and drives. Definitely 1 of a kind bike.The Good:*Rides and Shifts Good*CMC Custom Rims*Custom Paint Scheme*Re-upholstered seats to match paint scheme*Walbro Fuel Pump*Mallory Fuel Pressure Regulator*DSM EVOIII T3 Turbo*Oil Scavenging Pump Turbo cooler/lubricationThe Bad:*Been sitting for a while so carbs need to be cleaned good and tuned to run great (I can still get it started though, but its hard)*Kinda dirty - needs to be washed.*Front Right Fork is leaking - I would say that the forks will need to get refreshed/rebuilt (new fork seals and fork oil) - before you decide to ride it around*Has a little scratch on the right side fairing from it tipping over at my driveway. EICMA 2013: 2014 Yamaha MT-07 And MT-09 Street Rally
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.

Wed, 25 May 2022The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.
Yamaha Champions Riding School Garage Sale This Weekend
Tue, 03 Dec 2013As a former student, and later instructor, at the Yamaha Champions Riding School, it pained me to learn that the program has ceased operation. However, the school’s loss could be your gain, as Miller Motorsports Park will be holding a garage sale this weekend to move many of the assets from the school — yes, that includes motorcycles. The sale will be held this Saturday, December 7, in Team Garage 1004 at Miller Motorsports Park.
