Yamaha FJR description

Hello.
I have available here a 2012 Yamaha FJR1300A.

FULL DISCLAIMER: Motor has internal damage (unknown). The oil drain plug fell out and internal engine damage resulted. Yeah, I know. Argh! Motor does run, but makes severe noise.

This would be perfect for someone who has a wrecked FJR, with an otherwise good motor.

Overall the bike is in excellent condition with just over 20,000 miles showing. The bike is completely stock with no physical damage of any kind, other than your minimal blemishes as expected with 20,000 miles of use. I put paint protection clear "Mylar" plastic on the bike. ALL functions/electronics/accessories are 100%.

The bike has NEW Continental Coni-motion tires and Battery.

Average Kelly Blue Book & NADA Guide is $9500.

I've seen motors on E-bay from $500 to $1500. I simply do not have the time or means to replace the motor and I've already replaced the bike with another FJR1300.

Spec's:
Color- Blue.
Heated grips
Electric windshield
Luggage/Hard cases.
Tool bag under seat.

Bike is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Questions? Please ask.

Please check my Feedback. I say what I mean. I mean what I say.

Thank you

Ben Spies Video Interview on 2012 MotoGP Season [Video]

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Yamaha Factory Racing today posted on its YouTube page a video interview with Ben “Elbowz” Spies, in which Spies discusses the soon to start 2012 season of MotoGP. In his usual calm, cool and under control manner Spies speaks frankly on how he prefers the 1000cc GP machine, saying it suits his style (elbows out!) better than the previous seasons’ 800cc bikes because the extra torque and horsepower of the liter-class bikes are, essentially, better matched to his physical stature. Spies also answers honestly the question of who he thinks he needs to keep an eye in 2012, including his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
