Just use the left bar-mounted paddles (or the foot-operated gearshift lever) to click off supersmooth gear changes, this eliminates the clutch lever entirely.

Owned since December 2006, purchased at 6 months old with just 800 mile from a Yamaha dealer in Santa Monica, always serviced at Yamaha dealers in the bay area since then. 
Clean and current title, new rear tire, good front tire, good battery, 40,200 on the odometer, but approx. 42,255 miles on the bike because the instrument panel was replaced under warranty at 2,055 miles.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
