Yamaha FJR description
All original bike, I purchased it from the second owner who owned it since 1993. Starts up and runs good but burns oil (smokes) on a cold start after it has been sitting. Might just be oil leaking past the valve guides. After its warm it runs great with great power and idle. Pulls hard through all the gears. Extras include the full fairing, Supertrapp pipes, and a corbin seat. I do not have any of the stock parts. Original paint with the exception of the lower fairing. the tank has some cracking in the aging paint. Looks like it might have had a standstill drop but never been down at speed. Overall a great original bike to ad to your collection!
Please Study the pictures, Just took these photos on 2/19/16. If requested I can send a video of the bike running to your phone or email. Colin Edwards Puts Yamaha Extended Service Agents Through Boot Camp [Video]
Tue, 05 Jul 2011We love Colin Edwards. Okay, not like that kind of love, but more the “I want to go on a Man-cation with him” kind of way. The man is flat out funny, a guarantee Grade A quote at press conferences and, as he showed in his unexpected podium finish at this year’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, he’s still fast.
California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone
Mon, 24 May 2010California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.
