Up for sale is a 1972 Yamaha DT250 Motorcycle. Clear Title. 5,479 original miles. Built in 3/72. All original. Frame # DT1F-128805. Engine # DT1F-28805. It does not run, has been sitting since the late 1980s. Motor turns over with tons of compression. Has spark. Front and rear brakes work as they should .Shifts through the gears. Bike is complete. Gas tank is solid. Inside is clean with no rust. Chrome has little to no pitting. Everything is solid, no holes. Paint is super nice, only one tiny ding on left side of tank. Tires are original, show some dry rot. With a carburetor cleaning and battery would make a nice running vintage 1972 DT250 Yamaha motorcycle. Please see all pictures before bidding. Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
