TC Brothers hard tail, powder coated frame, XS Charge permanent magnet alternator kit, high output digital ignition, air ride solo seat, powder coated wheels with new spokes, re gasketed engine, powell peralta "Bones" skateboard wheel chain tensioner, battery eliminator capacitor, pinstriped peanut tank and golan petcock, new rear tire, TC Brothers forward controls, heat wrapped scrambler exhaust, mild apes, New old inventory carburetors, kick start only. Runs like it should, ready for summer. This will be the second summer for this build. Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles

More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
