TC Brothers hard tail, powder coated frame, XS Charge permanent magnet alternator kit, high output digital ignition, air ride solo seat, powder coated wheels with new spokes, re gasketed engine, powell peralta "Bones" skateboard wheel chain tensioner, battery eliminator capacitor, pinstriped peanut tank and golan petcock, new rear tire, TC Brothers forward controls, heat wrapped scrambler exhaust, mild apes, New old inventory carburetors, kick start only. Runs like it should, ready for summer. This will be the second summer for this build. To promote the upcoming launch, Yamaha released a teaser video revealing a few fleeting glimpses of the new model along with the tag line “less is more”. The video reveals some details such as dual rear shocks, a solo seat and a new single exhaust design.

On Oct. 28th, 2011 Yamaha filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V533000) regarding possible fuel leaks on 2009 thru 2012 model-year V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer manufactured October 2008 through August 2011. The recall also includes the 2007 V Star 1300 model with manufacture dates August 2006 to March 2007.

Colin Edwards played the gracious host, welcoming his NGM Forward Racing teammates to the U.S. with a day of dirt riding at his Texas Tornado Boot Camp. Edwards’ teammate Aleix Espargaro and Moto2 riders Simone Corsi and Mattia Passini joined other riders at the camp ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP round at Circuit of the Americas.
