  • Have owned the above motorcycle for 29 years and it is time to down size ,other projects to complete and have more room.It runs and pulls well like you would expect from a Comet.Please look carefully at all the pictures, everything
  • shown goes with the Comet.In keeping with full disclosure ,the generator packed up years ago.It does NOT work and needs to be repaired.The gear has been removed from the generator.This is the only fault with the bike everything 
  • else works.Apart from the MK2 carburetor it is  original.Engine rebuild in 2009 and approximately 2000 miles on the engine.Not many miles racked up, other bikes to ride !!.
  • The bike has a clear British Columbia title.Sold as is free of all Liens and Encumbrances 
  • Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer.All funds to clear bank before release of bike.A deposit of $300.00 by pay pal and balance by Wire transfer to my bank.

The MotoGP circus moves into it's tenth appearance at the Estoril circuit, with the Portugease circuit playing host to a Grand Prix event in each of the previous nine years since the introduction of the four-stroke MotoGP formula at in 2002. Below is a reminder of the highlights of the previous nine MotoGP races held at Estoril: 2002 – Having won the last 500cc GP race at Estoril in 2001, Valentino Rossi (Honda) won the first of the MotoGP races held at the circuit. This was a race that was run in very wet conditions and Sete Gibernau had led for most of the race only to crash out with four laps to go.

The upcoming Bonhams Banbury Run Sale is set to be a motorcycle enthusiast’s dream, with 102 lots of iconic bikes available to the highest bidder. Within the sale, an intriguing duo of Brough Superiors will be offered for auction from a family synonymous with motorcycles for generations – Myerscough. The motoring history behind the Myerscough family began in 1893 when Leonard Myerscough opened a business repairing and selling bicycles, followed by motorcycles and automobiles. At the peak of this business, five locations serviced the Liverpool area under the banner L Myerscough & Sons Ltd. Encouraged by his father, the eldest son, Len Jr, took up dirt track racing in the late 1920s, enjoying success as a contracted team rider for both the Belle Vue Aces and Preston teams from 1928 to 1931.
