Vincent motorcycles required a special exhaust clamp which is no longer made or offered for sale. The clamps(two are required for Shadow or Rapide) are immediately noticeable from modern, incorrect replacement items as they feature the hollow "boxes" one each end of the chromed, steel strap. The "boxes" support the mounting bolt 1/4" BSF X 1 1/2" long hex bolt, washer and nut.
Details are important in your Vincent as a show-winner as well as preserving it as a future investment. Getting it right need not cost a fortune but these are very, very visible items and so they must be correct for you Vincent to be correct! They come as a set of two PT 4 clamps(w/o bolt, nut or washers) |

Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
