GRADING :  All albums are visually graded. If you need me to listen to it in order for you to make a bid decision, please email me and I will happily place it on my turntable for you. Otherwise, albums are considered sold as is (exception made if LP is  warped, skips or sticks - which it shouldn't do since I thought I got rid of those). I know grading can be subjective so if you disagree with the grading of the album, please contact me to resolve the matter.

NM  (NEAR MINT)  I picked up this LP new. Carefully played.
VG++  (VERY GOOD ++)  Excellent condition, but I probably picked up this record used so I don’t know its playing history. Minor  rubbing on  LP.
VG+    A good listening copy.  LP likely to have ticks / clicks.
VG   An average heavily-used LP that will have surface noise -- but no skips
or sticks.

A note about covers : The music is more important to me than covers.  My albums are used, so most covers show some wear and/or rubbing -- white and black ones are especially prone -- and are generally graded VG+.  Atypical features (such as drill holes, shrink wrap, writing, seam splits, promo stamps, etc.) will be noted.  If covers are a special concern of yours, please contact me before you bid and I'll be happy to provide you with greater detail.

SHIPPING :   U.S. shipping and handling via Media Mail is $3.99 for the first item.  Combined shipping is only $.50 per additional item if all items are paid for with a single payment. If you'd like tracking and/or insurance, or if you'd like Priority Mail, please contact me before checkout and I'll add them to your invoice.  International shipping and handling via First Class Airmail is actual postage of parcel + $2, regardless of the number of LPs.  I try to use recycled / recyclable / reused / reusable packing materials whenever possible.

HANDLING :  Here’s what you get for your hard-earned money:  LPs are joyfully told of their new home and songs of celebration are sung. Then they are gently nestled in a comfortable and sturdy record mailer. To help reduce their feeling of isolation, I entrust them with friendly and caring local representatives of the U.S. government within 2 working days after payment is received -- often the next day. Together, we sing a song of bon voyage (with other postal patrons singing impromptu harmony) and the record is quickly off to its appreciative and nurturing new home. An email is sent to you so you can prepare for the new arrival (locating its prime shelf space, putting up new wallpaper, organizing a “welcome to your new family” party, etc.).  A return email from you when the new family member arrives is greatly appreciated and always results in a rousing and envious cheer.

IMPORTANT :  Winners please contact me within 3 days.  If you are interested in other auctions of mine before paying, please let me know and we can combine shipping.  Payment will be due 5 days after your final auction ends.

Thank you for keeping eBay fun!

The New Age Of Custom Motorcycles – Video

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

In a world where modern motorcycles are full of computers, sensors and plastic, there are still those folks who yearn for the days of yore. A time when motorcycles were made of metal and you used a wrench — not a keyboard — to make your bike go faster. Careful and skilled craftsmanship, along with independent thinking, is a mark of pride among these men and their machines, some of whom are featured in the video below by Gestalten.tv.

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.
