Vincent Bach Size 14-1/2D Small Shank Trombone Mouthpiece - Silver

Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. A mechanical genius and acclaimed trumpet soloist, his instruments and mouthpieces are used today in every major studio and orchestra in the world. Bach personally designed the tools and composed the plans that continue to set the high standards for making all Bach parts today.

Please Note: This mouthpiece is in overall good condition with some scratches and very tiny nicks on the rim, some pitting near and around the outside edge and exterior flat area, and very small minor dinks elsewhere. Shaft shows normal scratches and wear with a small ding at the tip making it a little out of round. Item has been cleaned and shines well. Has the large font and dates from the 1997-2003 timeframe. These sell for over $70 new, so buy here and save. The item you see is the one you will receive.

This Black Shadow was part of the factory’s bid to set a new 24-hour speed record at Montlhéry in France in May 1952. Mechanical troubles prevented that from happening, but the team still came away with eight records, including six hours at over 100 mph.
