I WAS TOLD IT IS A 1951 POWELL MOTOR CYCLE ENGINE SEE MESSAGE AT BOTTOM OF LISTING

It could be a 1949 thru 1951 Powell
engine off a model P-81.
It used a 4" Ford piston. Powell brothers designed it and Owens Manufacturing out of California.
 
GREAT FOR RESTORATION
ALL I HAVE IS WHAT YOU SEE CASE CYLINDER AND HEAD THE VALVES ARE IN THE CYLINDER
HAS ONE STUCK VALVE NO CRACKS BORE LOOKS GOOD

EMAILS: With such a high volume of parts listed, we receive hundreds of emails a day. We answer them in order as fast as we can. Again, we are only human, we have families, so we cannot answer all emails right away. Typically we answer emails daily as we can or you can also call me if needed central time from 9:00AM to 10PM 7 days a week i may answer at my home.

SHIPPING: we try to ship within 24 hours of payment. Sometimes that becomes 48 hours depending on the amount of shipping that day, and the available help that day. All New or N.O.S parts may have shelf wear and may have light rust spots or be tarnished and will need buffing or cleaning depending on the part. Also parts may not come in its original bag with tag. N.O.S  Parts were sometimes ordered in bulk meaning that 2 or more may have came in the same bag with only one tag that is how dealers sometimes bought in those days. The last one sold in this instants will be the one that will come with the tag. We do not reprint part tag as some sellers have done here on ebay the tag you get or if you get will be the original and may be faded, worn or dirty but will be the original

The motoring history behind the Myerscough family began in 1893 when Leonard Myerscough opened a business repairing and selling bicycles, followed by motorcycles and automobiles. At the peak of this business, five locations serviced the Liverpool area under the banner L Myerscough & Sons Ltd. Encouraged by his father, the eldest son, Len Jr, took up dirt track racing in the late 1920s, enjoying success as a contracted team rider for both the Belle Vue Aces and Preston teams from 1928 to 1931.

Mission Motorcycles Sues Co-Founder

Mission Motorcycles is suing Vincent Ip, one of three co-founders of the electric motorcycle company, who was terminated in November. This according to a lawsuit filed this month in U.S. District Court, and first reported by the Associated Press.
