Netherlands Vincent Van Gogh Self Portrait Fdc Glossy Maximum Postcard 1954 on 2040-motos
Vincent All description
This, Netherlands Vincent Van Gogh Self Portrait FDC Glossy Maximum Postcard
1954, is in nice shape. Its dimensions are 5 3/4 by 4 inches.
Please Note That The Following Shipping
Information Pertains To Shipping Of All Of My Postcards, Photographs, Trade
Cards, And All Other Paper Materials That Are Purchased:
1.For buyers to USA destinations: a.
All my postcards are designated with a $.89 shipping charge which
provides for packaging that consists of a flexible envelope 9 inches by 6
inches. This envelope will bend so that
it can be machine cancelled. I package
the postcard between two pieces of file folder weigh paper or other suitable
flexible paper material. If you want to
prevent possible bending or creasing of the postcard(s) during shipping, I can
mail the postcard in a cardboard re-enforced envelope which help prevent the
bending of the postcard. This will cost you a $2.62 shipping rate (this is
the rate that the post office charges me).
This charge also includes
tracking. If you want your postcards shipped using cardboard, please request that immediately after you have a
winning bid, and I will provide you with an invoice with a shipping charge of
$2.62. I will also remind you on the
invoice in the comments section of this option.
I offer combined shipping, however, a flexible envelope can only contain
up to 2-3 postcards, and still be considered flexible by the post office. For purchases of more than 3 postcards in one
envelope, the envelope usually is not considered flexible and I therefore use
cardboard and charge $2.62. 2. For buyers to international destinations: a. I
invoice all of my postcards that are mailed to international addresses for a
USPS shipping charge of $2.13 (2 ounces or less)
which provides for a flexible envelope that WILL NOT PREVENT
BENDING OR CREASING. I package the postcard(s) between two pieces of
file folder weight paper or other suitable paper, to give very limited
protection. I offer combined shipping to save on costs.
b. For
buyers who want to PREVENT POSSIBLE BENDING OR
CREASING of postcards,
I will ship the postcard(s) between cardboard so as to prevent bending or creasing of
the postcard(s). The USPS charges
$13.50 for packages of up to 8 ounces.
The US Post Office does not offer differentiated rates for lower weight
packages as before. I offer combined
shipping. If possible, depending on the
amount of the total sale, I will try and assume part of the shipping cost. If
you want your postcards shipped in this manner (using cardboard) please inform
me immediately after your winning bid so that your invoice will reflect a
$13.50 shipping charge. VERY IMPORTANT: Envelopes that have 4 or 5 postcards or
more postcards are sometimes too thick in one envelope for the USPS to accept
as a “letter” (flexible) and then charge the parcel rate ($13.50 as previously
described for a cardboard reinforced envelope).
I am very willing to use more than one flexible envelope at $2.13 each
to save you money. Therefore, for example, if a person buys 7 postcards, I
would use 2 envelopes with 4 in one and 3 in the second envelope. The shipping
charge would be $4.26. ATTENTION: If YOU HAVE WINNING BIDS ON MORE THAN ONE
POSTCARD, PLEASE WAIT TO PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE – I OFFER SOME
COMBINED SHIPPING OPPORTUNITIES. |

Behind the “Bathing Suit” Picture
Fri, 09 Jan 2009Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.
