A rare book printed in 1947. It is now well out of print, & quite rare & hard to find ! This book covers all aspects of Tuning & Performance Improvements for Motorcycle of the 1947 era. A very interesting book for anyone owning a 30's/40's bike; or anyone who is interested in performance theory or practical performance improvements for bikes of that era. 150 pages, book is in well used condition. Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million
Mon, 16 Jan 2012A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
