The transmission s helical-cut gears ensure that each shift is smooth and clean. DUAL ZONE HEATED SEATS & HANDGRIPS Extend the riding season with the heated handgrips and heated seats. The driver has Hi & Lo settings on the hand controls to ward off the chill, and the seats provide the driver and passenger with individual Hi/Lo controls. Add a month or more on both ends of the riding season with the flip of a switch. 29 GALLONS OF TRUNK & SADDLEBAG SPACE Integrated in the smooth-flowing Victory Vision Tour bodywork are convenient side storage compartments and a spacious trunk. KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.

2014 AMA Supercross – Houston Results

Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
