Victory Vegas description

Up for sale I have a 2010 Victory Vegas 8 Ball. (100 cc 5 speed). I am asking $7700.00 for it. The Bike has a Rebuilt title. The Vegas had 4027 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 6150 miles on it. I cannot figure out why it has a Rebuilt title on it. To make it road ready I had to put mirrors and tail lights on it. When I took the title to the Department of Motor vehicles the lady told me the Motorcycle was stolen at some point and that the insurance company must have settle with the insured before the motorcycle was recovered. But we really don’t know for sure. I do have the title in hand now. The Vegas has a small dent on the tank and a dent on the front Fender. You should be able to see the dents in the Pictures. When I replaced the Cheese wedges the Victory Dealer only had the one with the 106 cc on it. This is a 100 cc Bike. The tires are the Original tire and in Good Condition. The bike will have a fresh oil change using fully synthetic oil. The ONLY reason I am selling this Victory is when I went to Sturgis S.D. for the rally the New Indian was unveiled. After taking it for a test ride I order an Indian Chieftain.

Victory Fuel Controller, gen 3 (VFC-III) $300.00

The VFC adjusts the fuel mapping under different throttle positions which results in increased power and throttle response, smoother running and eliminates backfiring.

Lloydz new VFC III is the next generation Victory Fuel Controller. In addition to its vastly flexible fuel management tune-ability, the VFC III offers added control for performance fuels like Nitrous. Its architecture allows for future "add-ons" from Lloydz. The VFC simply plugs into the existing injector harness - no splicing or cutting existing wires. All VFCs offer 2-year warranty against defect.

Lindby Crash Bar $350.00        Total $3184.00

I WILL BE RIDING THIS BIKE TILL MY NEW ONE COMES IN OR THIS ONE SELL

THERE WILL BE A $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED VIA PAYPAL.  YOU CAN PAY THE REST IN CASH WHEN THE BIKE IS PICKED UP.

Here is the diffence between a salvage and a rebuilt title.

Salvage Title

  • A vehicle that has been involved in an accident, a flood or a fire or that has been stolen can be classified under a salvage title. These occurrences often do enough damage to the vehicle that the insurance company decides it will cost more to fix it than replace it. The insurance company will usually sell the vehicle "as is" to a salvage and wreckage yard. Mechanics can sometimes purchase these vehicles and rebuild them until they are functioning properly.

Rebuilt Title

  • The DMV issues a rebuilt title to a vehicle that has previously been designated a salvage title but has been restored to good working order. The definition and laws regarding a rebuilt title can be different depending on state-specific regulations. In general, the complete rebuilding process must be documented with an affidavit and the vehicle must be inspected at a state-certified facility, before it can be issued a license plate and driven legally.

Classic Race Finishes: 1991 250cc Misano Grand Prix – Video

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

More than just a medium to view countless hours of cat videos, YouTube allows us to look back at classic motorcycle races otherwise lost to the depths of the VHS tape. This time around features the no-holds-barred, back-and-forth action between Luca Cadalora, aboard the Rothmans Honda NSR250 and Helmut Bradl, father of current MotoGP rider, Stefan Bradl, riding the HB Honda NSR250. The stage is the 1991 250cc Italian Grand Prix at Misano — back when it was run in the correct, counter-clockwise, direction.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
