Victory V92 Dc Classic Cruiser description

This is the most Beautifull V92 I have ever seen in pictures or in person. The stunning Red contrasts sharply against the bright chrome. With the Mustang tour seat Rider and passenger back rest, Victory tall chrome windshield and lower wind deflectors, Highway bars and pegs , your set for all day rides in style and comfort. Metzler 880 marathon tires with approx. 8000 miles and still look like new. They are mounted on chrome spoke wheels that add to the shine and sparkle of this stunning bike. Chrome luggage rack with the Mustang rest and Saddleman jumbo slant saddle bags provide ample storage. I didn't care for the look of the original rear lighting and changed the appearance of the rear by adding Kuryakyn lighting and shortening the fender to show the big rubber. Power to spare with this enhanced 92 CI 1504 CC V Twin. The motor has stage 1 exhaust and download plus Lloyds 6 deg. advanced cam gears a PMRT intake and Llyods VFC 3 fuel control. You won't be disappointed for a 92 this thing really rocks. There is a 2 teeth over drive front pulley and new belt. Highway cruising is 2700 rpm @ 70 mph with this set up. The fuel pump was just rebuilt by the Vic shop. These last features were all done this spring for peace of mind prior to taking a trip to Tenn. and visiting the famed tail of the Dragon. This bike will walk up any hill I ever encounted with ease no heavy roll on just, steady awesome torque that moves you smoothly. The bike was purchased with 5000 miles on it and has been meticulliosly professionally cared for sense with all required maintance done on schedule

1974: Onboard an MV racer with Phil Read

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

Victory VS. BMW Police Bike Challenge + Video

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
