If you want it or know someone who might want it, send up a flare ...2010 Victory Cross Roads - getting close to 17K miles - excellent running bike - best looking bike I've ever owned - Lots of Arlen Ness design elements - Set the air ride to your weight and its amazing - best handling big cruiser I've been on - the engineering that's gone into this bike is far beyond the Vic's I sold when I was a dealer - never been dropped [ until I got a hold of it ] so there are a few scratches - This is the only bike I've owned or ridden that does not have heat issues for your legs [ or other unmentionable body parts ] - The windshield and backrest are on and off in seconds - very easy to dress up for a trip or to strip for cruising. BAT BIKE ...I like this bike a lot but I'm going back to ADV bikes.$10250 or will trade for a BMW GS or GSA 1200 of equivalent mileage, condition, and value OR a 2009/2010 Buell Ulysses with at least $3000 boot to me. A New Bobber From Victory?
Thu, 01 Dec 2011On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.
2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.
Rookie of the Year: Crutchlow vs. Abraham
Mon, 31 Oct 2011The MotoGP championship is all settled with Casey Stoner lifting the title, but there is still an underlining honour yet to be decided at Valencia; the Rookie of the Year between Cal Crutchlow and Karel Abraham (and Moto2 and 125 - but they seem to be safely in the respective hands of Bradl and Terol). Coming into the final race this weekend, Crutchlow leads Abraham by one point in the championship. Both riders have common knowledge of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, the Briton having raced there in his World Superbike and Supersport years whereas Abraham scored his only Grand Prix victory at Valencia in his final Moto2 race last season.
