Victory Hammer description

2006 Victory Hammer, only 12540 miles. 100ci/1640cc engine

Bike has lived in my garage since I purchased it.  It is ridden very little now (only 600miles in the past year) and will make someone else a better, proud owner.  This is a beautiful beast of a bike, you will not find another Hammer as gorgeous, decked out, and performance oriented.

Showroom perfect black metallic pearl paint and subtle graphics. I have taken meticulous care with cleaning and waxing over the years and the multi layer clearcoat finish is smoother than glass.

6speed solid reliable Victory transmission. Fuel injected, I always avoid ethanol gas. Frequently add sea foam and stable. Always starts instantly, no matter what temperature, and is mechanically perfect in every way (engine, tires, brakes, electrical, clutch, transmission, etc).

Massive 260 rear tire, smooth reliable kevlar belt drive, inverted forks, huge brembo brakes. It is a beast but with the front end of a large sport bike having great response and braking. While it has a fat rear, you can scrap the pegs if you want to throw it into a corner once comfortable.  This Metzler 260 is actually more rounded than the factory 250 tire, and is much easier to throw into a corner.

Huge list of extras and items I have done with it over the years to make it unique and a phenomenal bike to ride. Always gets compliments and attention. If you do some research and look at all the pics, you'll see how I spared no expense in this extensive Victory Hammer package.

Ground Pounders exhaust with titanium heat wrap and Thunder City washer baffles.  Baffles and professional tune mean no popping, even with such short straight pipes.

Big Shot fuel controller, set up perfectly from professional dyno tune.

Torque Tubes air intake system and filters.  These really make a huge difference and are why such strong dyno numbers (documentation included) were possible with a short straight exhaust.

Upgraded plug wires and Brisk premium spark plugs.

Professionally dyno tuned, 100hp-110ft/lbs torque.

Stainless braided steel oil line and chrome protective oil cooler cover.

Upgraded 12vt newer style, much brighter, Victory brake light.

Hyperlite supplemental Brake lights (pulsing several seconds to steady with each brake application)

Victory touring seat with passenger seat sissy bar pad (requires removing secondary hyperlite brake light setup to mount). Quick/easy removal setup bolts and nuts installed. Beads pad can easily be removed but I am amazed how comfortable it is and provides a much cooler ride in the summer.

Upgraded clutch cable (old one never broke but wanted a stronger one) and easy-pull assembly at motor engagement for a smooth effortless pull.

Upgraded foot pegs with flip outs for more highway or extended reach.

Throttle lock cruise control.

HID low beam.

Very bright auxiliary LED driving lights with separate switch near powerlet outlet.

Powerlet outlet, which can serve to keep battery charged or provide a USB charging cable output.

AGM battery, always kept on maintainer through powerlet adapter.

Batwing windshield with quick connect/disconnect. Takes less than 60sec to take off or put on. 3 additional size/length windscreens. Once I added it though, I never took it off again until taking these pictures, as I enjoy riding without wind blasting.

Quick connect/disconnect Viking luggage set with keys for locking on off bike and locking lids closed. Internal bags for the luggage. Never used, still all brand new, but all the mounts and setup is obviously already in place.

Engine guard crash bars with bright white LED motorcycle strobes, wired to horn switch for easy temporary activation (great way to get or ensure attention when approaching intersections or other distracted driver areas).

Additional quick connect wind protection shields on front fork and leather wind breaks (elephant ears) that can go on crash bars, great for riding in colder temps.

Upgraded mirrors with LED's wired into turn signals.

Upgraded comfort grips, though I can't remember the brand.

Flush LED front turn signals on forks. Fender eliminator kit with integrated LED turn signals.  Very bright when activated, virtually invisible when not.  Axle mounted license plate holder.

Removable watertight leather tool bag for left swingarm, solid reliable mount with zero movement, perfect size to carry good assortment of tools.

Factory Victory Hammer owner's manual with some notes and maintenance records.

Victory Hammer comprehensive repair and maintenance manual with digital CD.

Full length black cotton dust cover which the bike typically lives under while garaged.

There is also various nice engine badging throughout the bike, chrome accents/covers, and other visually appealing items I've done to it, as are all visible in the pictures. I'll load as many as I can here, but have about 50+ pictures from every angle and the additional extras/features I can send to anyone interested.

Message me for a link to a folder containing additional pictures or ask any questions.  This bike starts, runs, drives, and rides better than new.

Kickstand is fine, I just put it up on my homemade winter storage roller stand after changing the oil not long ago expecting to put it up for the winter.

I can work with buyer around shipping, though ultimately it is the buyer's responsibility.  I have used uship in the past with motorcycles, or I may be willing to trailer the bike within a reasonable distance to help meet the buyer for a nominal fee (distance to be negotiated before purchase/bid please).  Questions welcome through ebay messages.

Brembo, the major braking component manufacturer for most on the MotoGP grid, has been providing detailed braking information, in infographic form, for each of the circuits the MotoGP calendar visits. Now, following the hugely exciting Mugello grand prix, which saw Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo engage in a hotly contested battle for victory, the Italian company has released this same info yet again, detailing just how hard the fastest riders on Earth are using their Brembo brakes at the Autodromo Internazionale Del Mugello. Featuring the longest straight on the MotoGP calendar, Mugello sees MotoGP machines reaching speeds surpassing 220 mph.

Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
