2006 VICTORY Hammer, The all-new American brute muscle and radical custom style bike entered the scene featuring the same 100 cubic inches V-twin engine fed through an Electronic Fuel Injection system featuring 44mm throttle bodies. Oil and air cooling, six-speed gearbox and belt final drive, it was all there. Colors available in 2005 were Black, Indy Red, Cosmic Sunburst, Flame Yellow (Solid Colors) and Indy Red with Tribal Tattoo, Toxic Green with Tribal Tattoo (Multiple colors). What came new on the bike for 2006 was the massive 250mm rear tire especially designed by Dunlop which also required a widened rear fender on top of it. Also brand new was the bar s V configuration, the deep saddle, and the custom inspired paintjob which made it stand out even more. This bike has plenty of after market upgrades it boasts great sound and has been well maintained by the previous owner. Victory of Miami is a full fledged dealership. The official announcement says the new division “maximizes cohesive and strategic growth for Victory Motorcycles and other on-road products and brands”. Which begs the question: what other on-road products and brands?
WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT Race 1 Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Dave Molyneux won his 15th career Isle of Man TT race with a victory in the first Sure Sidecar TT race of the 2012 festival. The win comes in Molyneux’s return to the Isle of Man TT after sitting out last year’s competition. By far the most successful Sidecar racer in TT history Molyneux is third overall among riders in any class, behind Joey Dunlop (26) and John McGuinness (18).
