The Future is here!! This is a 2016 Victory Empulse TT, an all ELECTRIC Motorcycle!! The Empulse TT will reach 100mph+ and has a high capacity 10.4kWh battery. The battery (manufactured by Brammo) fully charges up in just 3.5 hours via a plug into the top of the ‘fuel tank’ with an 80 per cent charge can be achieved in just two hours.

Typical riding gives a range of 65 miles with 100 miles achievable through throttle management and regenerative charging. A ‘combined 70mph highway and city range’ is 57 miles.

Some of the cool features this bike has is both a Eco mode, as well as a Sport Mode, LCD Display with Tachometer, Gear Indicator, Battery Status & Estimated Range, also has Dual Disk Brembo Front Brakes, and a Fully Adjustable 43mm Inverted Front Forks.

848 Challenge Oulton Park official race report

An emphatic and confident double win for James Folkard (Minards Pavlou Solicitors/Win43.com) this weekend cemented his position as one of the front-runners in the Ducati 848 Challenge. After some strong results at Snetterton and Misano, a first win for the man from Liverpool seemed inevitable, and this weekend at the Ducati Manchester sponsored Oulton Park round he walked away with a maximum points haul. Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) could only manage a third and a second despite feeling good about his chances for a victory, but he won’t be getting too worried yet as he extended his lead over closest rival Darren Fry (Hirebase Ducati Coventry) to 62.5 points.

Germany’s Matthias Himmelmann dominated the FIM e-Power & TTXGP combined event held Sept. 23 at the Le Mans circuit, in opening of the renowned FIM 24 Hours Endurance race. Not to discount Himmelmann’s win, but the most remarkable thing about the race is how much faster the electric-powered motorcycles lapped the Bugatti circuit this year.
