Victory Cross Country description

Up for sale is a 2014 Victory Cross Country with only 1,450 miles built by the premier builder of Victory and Indian Motorcycles, Rusty Jones. Sitting up front is a 26'' wheel with a custom wrap around fender, and OEM ABS that still works flawlessly with the ABS ring adapter. To fit the huge front wheel and tire the rake has been stretched by 12 degrees. This bike stops on a dime with dual front rotors and calipers and rides awesome with custom instant up air ride front and rear. The air ride is infinitely adjustable with a 1 gal tank and hidden compressor under the rear fender, and it sits on a center stand when aired down, but still has side kick stand for when it is aired up. It has Rockford Fosgate speakers under the custom speaker grills and a ipod adapter in the bag controlled by buttons on the custom RJC Outlaw handlebars. This bike also has factory cruise control that works flawlessly. It has many billet accessories all RJC including custom Floorboards, bar ends, Cheese Wedges, exhaust tips, clutch arm lever, cam cover, cam bolt cover and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. It also has custom fit stretched side panels, stretched bags, and stretched rear fender with recessed license plate holder with LED brake light, LED License plate light, and LED turn signals. The bike made recently made 105hp and 110ft/lbs of Torque and has Lloyds Cams, a Lloyds advanced timing gear, RJC Exhaust, a Power Commander V and a Custom tune by Legendary Tuner Bill "Hitman" Heitmann. I love this bike but my job is relocating me and I just cannot keep it. I'm sure I'm missing something so if you have any questions please contact me before you bid, I will be happy to answer any questions about the bike.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
