Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

A Walkaround With The Mugen Shinden San TT Zero Winner + Video

Earlier today, John McGuinness earned his 21st Isle of Man TT victory, claiming the top step in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race aboard the Mugen Shinden San. His single-lap race time of 19:17.300 means he averaged an astonishing 117.366 mph, destroying the existing lap record of 109.675 mph set last year by Michael Rutter aboard the MotoCzysz. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, the Michael Czysz could not field a team this year. Who To Watch In AMA Pro SuperSport

America’s road racing champions of tomorrow are racing in AMA Pro SuperSport today, and their season kicks off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.
