2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Rulebook Now Available

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb organizers have finalized the 2014 rulebook and have made it available in .pdf form online. Click here to download the 93-page document. Don’t fret about the number of pages, moto-specific stuff starts on page 70.  Now that the course has been fully paved since 2011, this has opened the doors for sportbike riders who wish to tackle the mountain.

Polaris Announces Internal Restructuring

Although the changes will not affect the Indian and Victory sales teams, Polaris Industries announced today that it had merged its sales, sales operations, service, corporate marketing and interactive team to form the Global Customer Excellence team. Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
