2023 Vespa GTV First Look

A Vespa icon gets a makeover With its distinctive “faro basso” (low headlight), the Vespa GTV has been turning traditionalist heads since 2006. Today, in Milan, the 2023 Vespa GTV was unveiled. While retaining the profile that put the vintage into the GTV, it has clearly been updated to modern standards.

Vespa Unveils The Reborn Sprint

In 1966, Vespa’s latest model, the Super Sprint 90, combined a small, lightweight body, with a 125cc engine. At the time, it was Vespa’s premier sporty and athletic model. Today, Vespa is bringing the Sprint name back with two new models, the Sprint 125 and Sprint 50.

Wall-climbing Vespas Star in Italian Art Exhibit

If you find yourself visiting Italy this year, be sure to stop in Florence to see a line of Vespas climbing the wall of the Gallery Hotel Art. The dozen Vespa shells are joined by three other scooters on the ground, each carefully painted by artist Simone D’Auria in an exhibit titled “Freedom” as part of the broader Lungarno Collection art project. D’Auria painted each scooter’s body with a nature-themed livery using a water transfer printing technique.
