HERE'S ONE YOU DON'T SEE EVERYDAY!! THIS IS REGISTERED AS A 1970 BIKE, BUT HAS A 1961 VW ENGINE IN 1950'S BMW FRAME. THIS BIKE IS 1 OF 2 BUILT BY DUANE AUSHERMAN AND STEVE WHITE AROUND 1969-70.

I have up for auction a 1970 BMW R60/5 at NO RESERVE. This is a engine and frame number matching bike, and yes there is a clear FL title for the bike. She had a nice freshening up a few years back, with new paint on frame and tins as you can see.

Beautiful 1970 BMW R60/5, frame & engine are numbers matching.  The cylinders, pistons & carbs are from an R75/5 so it's a 750 cc engine.  Cylinders are bored, new pistons, new valves & valve guides and the Bing Carbs are completely rebuilt.  I also installed electronic ignition. Fenders & tank have been repainted.  New Corbin seat, tires, battery & mufflers.  I made it "Café" but frame was not cut.  All parts are "bolt on" so can return to original look.  I have all the original parts; cylinders, pistons, carbs, heads, seat, handle bars & mirrors. This is a perfect rebuild and runs better than new with electronic ignition.

This is a 1970 BMW R50/5 Motorcycle  with 16,030 original miles.  This bike is complete and fully functional.  Everything is in working order, The original seat has been replaced with a Corbin Leather Saddle.

 BMW R 75/5 Motorcycle.  34,396 miles.  Completely rebuilt.  EVERYTHING was redone.  From the speedo to all rubber, matching serial numbers front forks, Koni rear shocks, front and rear brakes, clutch, electrical, rings, carbs, stainless steel nuts and bolts, electronic ignition ect ect. New paint but not original color or pin stripes.  Very dependable, no oil leaks and always starts and will go all day.  Always turns heads and gets thumbs up.  Comes with manual and a large box of extra parts. Remember that it is about 43 years old and very nice but not perfect.
