Triumph Trophy description
I always wanted one of these....so I bought the very nicest one I could find!  Unfortunately, it's a little TALL for me (with my 29 inch inseam) so instead of putting a lowering kit on a near-perfect cycle, I think I need to consider selling it.  I enjoyed riding it a GREAT DEAL, and with my boots on, I was able to flat-foot it...so it's not really that high, but my legs are short for 5'10", so it just doesn't fit me as well as my Harley. Triumph makes some of the best cycles in the world...PERIOD!  This particular one is a Trophy 1200 which was the largest sport-touring cycle they made.  It's an amazing ride!  In less than one minute, the locking bags and trunk may be removed, turning this into a VERY nimble and agile sport bike.  The position is a little more upright than a CBR so it's a bit more comfortable.  It definitely doesn't mince on handling or power!  It's just got much more comfort than many of the Japanese sport bikes I've ridden and even more than the Concours ... yet with more speed and agility.  It's got plenty of creature comforts as well with heated grips, throttle meister, full windshield, TERRIFIC seat, frame isolators and so much more Triumph built into this cycle.  This cycle is 100% completely STOCK.  It's got new tire on the rear and about 80% on the front.  Brakes are in great shape and it stops on a dime!  There are a few minor scuffs on the bags and a couple on the lowers, but no cracks on the bodywork or missing components.  Exhaust is stock too! She's got a carburetor, so she can be a bit finicky for the first few miles, but once she's warm, she's a rocket-ship and comfortable on a 5 hours putt as well!  Plenty of room for your rider and luggage too!  One of my favorite things about it is that when you arrive at your destination, all the luggage components have handles and remove FAST!  They can be carried like standard luggage!  Man, I wish my Harley had that!!  Very typical of English, German and Italian higher end cycles!  All the luggage is original Triumph and color-matched to the cycle OF COURSE. This cycle can be ridden home ANYWHERE you can reach via the street!!  I have no hesitation in riding it across country!  Current NYS inspection of course! (fresh this summer). Let me know if you have questions.  No joy-rides!  This isn't a beginner cycle.  It's much too fast.  Also, depending on your inseam, you may want to sit on it or ride it before bidding.Â
