Triumph Trophy description

This is a fast, smooth, beautiful four cylinder British sport touring machine. Only 53,xxx miles. New Continental Motion rear tire at 50,000 miles. Triumph Hard saddlebags, AVE trunk, Taller Clearview windshield, Throttlemeister throttle lock cruise control, double set of Gen Mar handlebar risers, Good o-ring Chain and Sprockets, Union Jack tank protector, K&N air filter. HID headlights. Wired for Battery Tender. Lots of new parts installed (Petcock, spark plugs, Nology ignition coils, Carbs rebuilt with new diaphragms, Heated grips, 12 volt Power outlet, Triumph fork guards, digital volt meter, New front brake pads). Bodywork is in great shape. Had a crack in the right lower and front fender. Both have been repaired from the backside with Plastex plastic repair and both are structurally sound and barely noticeable from the outside. Newly recovered Leather seat this spring. Clean & Clear Title. Runs, Drives, Stops beautifully. All service up to date. This bike requires nothing. It is ready to rack up some miles today. This is one smooth, torquey sport-touring machine. Machine is still being driven, so mileage may go up a bit.

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.

Major Updates Coming for 2015 Triumph Tiger 800

Triumph is set to reveal some new updates to its Tiger 800 including a number of different versions making it either more highway or more off-road oriented. The both the Tiger 800XC and the less adventure-worthy Tiger 800 will see two new variants, with the Tiger 800 likely being rebranded as the Tiger 800XR. A newly-published executive order from the California Air Resources Board reveals the names for four new Tiger 800 variants known as the XCA (likely standing for XC Adventure), XCX, XRT (or XR Touring) and XRX.

Triumph Reports 2011 Financial results

Triumph reported a 7% increase in unit sales and a 47.8% increase in operating profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. According to Triumph, the British manufacturer sold 48,684 units over the year, a 7% increase from the 45,501 units sold the previous year. Operating income totaled 22.3 million pounds (US$35.0 million), a large jump from the operating income of 15.1 million pounds (US$23.7 million) reported last year thanks to a more efficient use of working capital and reduced costs.
