On offer is a custom built classic "Triton" cafe racer based on a '67 Triumph TR6R Trophy 650 twin engine in a '63 Norton Atlas Slimline Featherbed chassis.

There are no two Tritons alike, this one has it's own special bits and features, as they all do. It's a good runner, but needs a few minor details sorted to the buyer's liking. It also features some alternate parts according to the buyer's wish (see below). This project was started way back in 2007, and has only just been fired up in August of this year, It has only been ridden on a few short test rides up and down the block.

This listing has plenty of clear photos, and the above narrative is quite complete. “What You See Is What You Get”.

DOCUMENTATION - Bill of Sale only included in auction price. New registration and license plate at BUYER'S COST.

BACK STORY - THE ENGINE OVERHAUL WAS NOT DONE BY ME. It was done by a third party for the owner, who commissioned me to complete the required details (wiring, ignition, final timing & adjustments) to get it running and roadworthy, then sell it.

SHIPPING Shipping is the responsibility of the BUYER. I recommend Keyboard Motorcycle Shippers or J.C.Motors. I can disassemble and/or crate the bike FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE.

BOTTOM LINE

As with every bike, project and part I’ve sold online in over 16 years (with 100% satisfaction), the above listing contains no hype, no fluff and NO BULL.

SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Many of the core parts on this bike are over 40 years old and there is no way to guarantee them. I do stand behind my work, and will assist the buyer to the best of my ability from long distance, should the need arise. Motorcycles are inherently dangerous, and buyer assumes all risk and liability as soon as the motorcycle is loaded up and removed from my property.

Thanx for looking, you won't be disappointed for bidding!

What’s Old Is New Again – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

There’s something distinctly cool about old British motorcycles. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s.  I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.

2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 Review - First Ride

Wed, 23 Mar 2022

This cat's claws are sharper than ever Credit: Photos by Kingdom Creative Triumph’s open-class ADV bike, the Tiger 1200 (or Tiger Explorer depending on what era we’re talking about), had begun to get a little long in the tooth. The big cat hadn’t received a major overhaul since its introduction in 2012 – only receiving incremental upgrades to keep the machine relevant over the past 10 years. The Brits did give the bike some refreshes and new tech over that time, but nothing compared to the latest iteration that I was lucky enough to get a proper two-day test of around the backroads and trails of the Iberian Peninsula.

2012 Triumph Street Triple sighted

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

Whilst sauntering home from work the other evening, in a double-take I stumbled upon a 2012 Triumph Street Triple, the one with the 675 engine. Thinking that I had discovered a 'scoop' that this bike was being previewed in Islington I hastily took shots on my (un)smart phone - only to find out that the 2012 Street Triple has already been released to the streets of the UK. Peers have described the new slanty lights of the Speed/Street Triple as 'looking a bit mongoloid' but I have to disagree.
