Triumph Trident description

1974 TRIUMPH Trident T150V

Up for auction we have a Classic Triumph Trident T150V  750

This bike is a nice barn find as found. It appears to be in a " mostly original" state with a few exceptions and/or upgrades. It's a kick & go machine. You classic guys will know the drill of tickle the carbys and kick. When done properly the machine fires up effortlessly.

here a few details:

The seat is a factory Triumph seat and functions fine, however it isn't the T150 seat and does have a piece of black tape (see pictures)on the back of it. Under the hinged seat, there are a few sections of replacement wire. Our guess is at some point the sections had become brittle from the heat generated and needed to be replaced.

The front brake master cylinder has been refitted with typical Triumph new re issue equipment and works well. The front wheel bearing are fresh sealed replacements. The steering neck bearings are rideable but notchy and should be upgraded to tapered cups & bearings if the new owner intends to put any serious miles in.

We are selling this bike for a customer, and have tried to portray  the bikes condition as accurate as possible. If you have a question , feel free to ask before bidding and we will do our best to  get back to you with an answer. This bike will be a nice addition to a collection as is, to restore if you like, or simply care for it and ride as meant to be.

ATTENTION BIDDERS:

-This is a NO RESERVE auction/ US ONLY/ No International sales

-No trades/ prefer item pickup but will work with your shipper.

-We offer no crating service

To be paid in full via PayPal or certified cashiers check within 3 days of auction end.

----Bid a fair amount and the bike is yours ! ----- GOOD LUCK !

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
