This motorcycle is in excellent condition and has been stored in a climate controlled environment for the past 6 years. It only has 9692 miles on it and is ready to ride. It recently had some carburator and clutch work. The mechanic that worked on it is very familiar with vintage triumphs and was amazed at it's condition and how it runs. I can provide his telephone number if you are interested in talking with him. This bike is super clean and starts on the first kick. It is also in the condition and of the age where it will continue to appreciate in value. There is a couple of scratches on the front fender that can be seen in one of the pictures. Please ask questions or if you want to see close ups of any parts, let me know. All the frame numbers match to the title. This is a 1972 Triumph Tiger 650.

The bike is basically stock, except for the following changes:-carburettor which has been replaced with a Mikuni-side panels-headlight & headlight cowl-taillight-small turn signals-The previous owner rewired it and installed a Sparx ignition, and put a few information labels you'll see on the bike The bike has recently had a new head gasket installed - I have ridden it about 50 miles since that was installed, long enough to retorque the head, and I try to ride it at least every other day because its fun - and to keep it limber for its next owner! It runs well, shifts cleanly, sounds great.

Production of the 750s started in 1973 with the twin-carb T140V Bonneville and the single-carb TR7V Tiger, direct descendants from the Speed Twin all those decades earlier. The TR7 Tiger combined 'the traditional virtues of thoroughbred handling with a power bonus from the 750cc engine. Single carb design provides miserly fuel consumption of up to 75mpg with fuss free reliability.' Like the T140, it ran at 7.9:1 compression with alloy conrods, plain big end bearings and ball and roller mains; used a multiplate clutch, triplex primary chain, welded oil bearing frame with taper roller head bearings, had a seat height of 31 inches, seven inches of ground clearance and weighed around 415lb (189kg) dry.

This is probably the cleanest 2004 Tiger you will ever find again. The color is Lucifer Orange it is a very pearlescent color that pictures just would not capture accurately. The only reason for selling this motorcycle is my 11 year old daughter who I scared terribly after wrecking my Harley so here we are. I am the second owner of this bike, since 2012. The first owner was about 5' 7" tall. So, to make this bike fit him he had a custom WILBUR shock installed to lower the height of the bike. He also shortened the side stand to work with the lower height.. 104 HP, with a FLAT power curve and a transmission that is soooo smooth and sure. This bike has: Cee Baily Tall Windscreen for less wind buffeting.

Very nice Tiger that has been well-maintained. Always garaged or under a cover. Runs great and has lots of power, quite sporty for the adventure/touring bike segment. The details:-I've added a Madstad windshield for tall riders, also comes with a Cee Baileys for your average height. -Comfy Corbin seat, stock seat included as well, though the passenger pillion needs a repair to fit properly. -Rear tire is brand new, front is OK, will need a new one in the next few thousand miles. -Brake pads were replaced and oil was changed a week ago. Well I’ll be. Triumph doesn’t even make a sport-tourer anymore; they’ve all been phased out in favor of adventure bikes, looks like. The Honda VFR1200F that was supposed to be its competition is also long defunct, and the BMW K1300S has also left the building.

Less weight, more power, and more versatility Triumph has finally spilled the beans on its thoroughly redesigned Tiger 1200. A substantial reduction in weight and an emphasis on power and handling is the name of the game for 2022. Bringing its big ADV into line with the 900s, the Tiger 1200 will be offered in five trims: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer which follow the same naming scheme with the GT trims being more road-focused while the Rally versions offer off-road accoutrement such as larger wheels and more suspension travel.

The 2022 special edition models are the Street Twin EC1, Thruxton RS Ton Up and the 221 Edition Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT. Each SE model is mechanically the same as their respective regular versions, but featuring a unique livery.

Eight special edition modern classics for one year only Following the introduction of the limited edition Street Twin Gold Line model, Triumph announced it is giving the rest of its modern classics the same treatment. Unlike the Street Twin, of which only 1,000 units were produced and promptly sold, the new Gold Line Edition models will be produced only for the 2022 model year and will not be limited to a specific number. Sharing the same platform as the Trident 660 roadster, the 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is a middleweight “adventure sports” model, claiming class-leading power and low cost of ownership. By “adventure sports”, of course, we’re talking about sport-touring models that are styled after true ADVs rather than sportbikes.
