Triumph Tiger description

2014 Triumph Tiger 800 ABS, We???ve combined a cracking Triumph three-cylinder engine and a rugged chassis to bring you the toughness, everyday practicality and outstanding touring credentials of the Tiger 800.The engine is designed to give you smooth, accessible torque when you need it. And the strong steel frame and long travel suspension are built, not just to survive, but excite on road or trail. We built the Tiger 800 for a purpose, and that???s what gives it its style. There are no side panels. Just essential covers and a screen for a look that reflects how this bike should be used. With minimum painted surfaces - just the fuel tank and front mudguard - the Tiger 800 can take knocks and spills and still look good. And with its purpose-made luggage, extended fuel range and spacious riding position you get a bike with a thirst for long distance riding.

2023 Triumph Modern Classics Range Get New Colors, New Names

Tue, 05 Jul 2022

Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 name changes are now official Triumph announced updated color options for its Bonneville “Modern Classics” range, as well as new names for the Street Scrambler and Street Twin. The 2023 paint schemes are generally more vibrant than the 2022 colors, a change brought about in part from the popularity of last year’s Gold Line edition models. Confirming the news we first reported in May, the Street Scrambler has been renamed the Scrambler 900, while the Street Twin will now be called the Speed Twin.

First Look: Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support

Tue, 02 Nov 2010

I'm predominantly a road rider, so I haven't had much to do with neck braces, until now. I'm heading on the launch of the new Triumph Tiger 800 and there will be a session of light off-roading so I thought this would be a chance to try the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support, mainly to see what it was like for day-to-day use. I hope I don't crash hard enough to test its protection qualities and I don't expect to be clearing any table tops either, but I'm curious to know how I get on with the BNS and whether it feels claustrophobic.

Speed Triple gets new boots

Tue, 18 May 2010

Since the spark plug incident last month resulting in the premature demise of the factory fitted Metzlers, I’ve had to find some new rubber for the Speed Triple. With the Triumph’s punchy engine Commuting 1800 miles a month on motorways and city roads, I need something that will cover decent miles but also be up for some frequent country lane antics. With the BT023’s Bridgestone claim longer life with solid wet weather performance for touring riders whilst satisfying the demands of the keen sport bike riders.
