Up for sale my beautiful Triumph Tiger 800 XC ABS 2011. As you can see I have been taking care of this bike since day one. I have been riding for over 25 years and have owned a wide range of motorcycles, this is by far the most powerful, versatile, smooth, responsive and reliable dual sport bike I have had. Before I bought this bike I was convinced I was getting a bmw gs800, a triumph dealership happened to be next door of bmw, took a test ride and I was sold by second gear. The triple engine has no comparison, and it shifts like new. If you have never tried this engine, it will amaze you and you will never go back to a twin. I have changed the oil and filter my self every 3000 miles with fully synthetic oil, I have also changed the battery recently, sprockets and chain, so you are good to go for a while. The rear tire has less than 500 miles, the front still has about 2000 miles more to go. You will also get the original street tires which probably have less than 500 miles, and the stock muffler.
The aftermarket muffler LeoVince is about 6 months old and gives it just the right tone, not too loud or annoying. This is a dual purpose bike so it does have some blemishes and light scuffs on the side plastics. which by the way are very inexpensive and easy to replace, the front turn light lenses are broken, lights do work, I ordered them so you will get a new pair with the bike. The tank has a dent on the left side, see pics, it is really not too noticeable because of the white paint and the shape of the tank, no scratches on the tank. The front peak has a small crack, very minor, see pics. All controls and lights work. Bike is in great overall condition and you will not find a cleaner dual sport bike out there. Triumph Reports 2011 Financial results
Thu, 01 Dec 2011Triumph reported a 7% increase in unit sales and a 47.8% increase in operating profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. According to Triumph, the British manufacturer sold 48,684 units over the year, a 7% increase from the 45,501 units sold the previous year. Operating income totaled 22.3 million pounds (US$35.0 million), a large jump from the operating income of 15.1 million pounds (US$23.7 million) reported last year thanks to a more efficient use of working capital and reduced costs.

Tue, 03 May 2011Every year on the first Bank holiday in May more than 25,000 bikers take to the A21 and ride to Hastings for what is Kent’s biggest bike meet. The official route starts at Locksbottom in London and follows the A21 all the way to the coastal town of Hastings. We picked up the 50 mile spectator-clad route about half way down and in our group of 5 took a casual poodle down.
