Triumph Tiger description
I'm selling my custom 1972 Triumph TR6. It's the last year Triumph made the 650's, and the first year of the 5 speeds! I bought it a couple years ago from the owner of the last 20 years. He kept it in immaculate shape, and hardly rode it. He said the motor was rebuilt when he first got it but I can't be sure. It is very clean, very tight and doesn't leak. Pretty amazing for a 44 year old British bike.
Since I got it I did a lot of work to it. I mounted the fender and taillight, made a custom seat (covered in Italian leather by Jay at Pirate Upholstery), put low bars, grips, levers, brake cable, vintage cocktail shaker mufflers, passenger pegs, and fork gaiters. I lowered the front end 1" internally, and rebuilt it. I completely rewired the bike using vintage style cloth wire. I put new points in , and I just changed the oil and all the oil lines. The bike has nice Dunlop K70 tires, and I have the front fender to go with the bike. It is a gorgeous bike and everyone comments on it. Don't buy it if you don't like talking to people at the gas station. It runs great, and the brakes work well. It starts right up after a couple kicks. It's running a Sparks Regulator/ capacitor and no battery, so I think the first couple kicks are charging the capacitor. I think it's as sorted as an antique British bike can be. I'm located up in Kingston but can deliver to the city or anywhere within 100 miles for $1 a loaded mile. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I can drop it off at a shipper, or meet them locally. $500 deposit on PayPal required within 48 hours of the auctions close, the rest due in cash upon pickup, unless other agreements are made. |

2021 MO Middleweight Naked Bike Shootout - Six Bikes!
Tue, 15 Jun 2021Six motorcycles, one winner Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Sean Matic We last performed this public service in 2017, when your Yamaha FZ-07 prevailed over the Kawasaki Z650, Suzuki SV650, the new Harley-Davidson Street Rod, and the new and indeterminate Benelli TnT 600, in that order. The FZ-07 has since morphed into the MT-07 amidst a host of well thought-out upgrades in 2018, and then again for 2021. The Z650 got a modern instrument pod in 2020 with a few other tasteful refinements, and the SV650 hasn’t changed a bit (God bless it).
