Triumph Tiger description
This motorcycle is in excellent condition and has been stored in a climate controlled environment for the past 6 years. It only has 9692 miles on it and is ready to ride. It recently had some carburator and clutch work. The mechanic that worked on it is very familiar with vintage triumphs and was amazed at it's condition and how it runs. I can provide his telephone number if you are interested in talking with him. This bike is super clean and starts on the first kick. It is also in the condition and of the age where it will continue to appreciate in value. There is a couple of scratches on the front fender that can be seen in one of the pictures. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Sprint GT, Tiger 800, Tiger 800XC Optional Top Box
Thu, 11 Aug 2011Triumph issued a recall for optional accessory top boxes for the 2011-2012 Sprint GT sport tourer and the Tiger 800 and 800XC dual sports. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the top box locking handle is missing a clip lip to ensure a proper lock on the rear rack. Without this clip, the locking mechanism may not be secure, potentially leading to the top box falling off of the motorcycle.

And there's more torque, too: 165ft-lbs to be precise - up 15 per cent on last year. Triumph also say the new bike will offer "A completely different riding experience from its predecessor." Bold statement.
