Triumph Tiger description

For sale is my 1970 Triumph Tiger in its original paint. 
It is my daily rider and needs nothing - starts first kick every time. 

Numbers matching.

The motor was rebuilt with new bearings, sludge trap cleaned, new rings, and head work in the last 2 years along with...

New charging system - rotor/stator and tympanium rectifier
Boyer Electronic ignition
New amal 930 carburetor 
New Seat
New rear shocks
New clutch plates and clutch pressure plate, clutch center also rebuilt with new rubbers
New fork tubes and fork bushings/seals
Tires are a year old and have lots of life left.
New rear chain
New primary chain
20 tooth front sprocket for more comfortable highway cruising.
currently registered and on the road - I have a transferable registration in my name.
Tach works well. Speedo does not work. It has a newer rear speedo drive but it will need a new cable and speedometer.
Some battery acid stains on the right side muffler (can see in the pictures).

Triumph Motorcycles Produces 500,000th in John Bloor Hinckley Era

Triumph is celebrating the 500,000th motorcycle produced in the John Bloor era with a tour across the United Kingdom with English stand-up comedian Ross Noble. The landmark motorcycle, a one-off Triumph Speed Triple, is the 500,000th unit produced by the modern Triumph Motorcycles company since Bloor revived the brand in 1990. Carrying VIN number 500,000, the milestone Speed Triple features a special red, white and blue color scheme with the triple-cross of the Union Jack on the fuel tank.

2012 Triumph Tiger 1050 and 1050SE – New Suspension, Handlebars and Colors

Triumph announced some updates to its Tiger 1050 and Tiger 1050SE for 2012, though at the moment it appears only the SE version will be offered in the United States. The 2012 Triumph Tiger 1050 and the special edition version receive updated suspension with new damping settings for both the front and the rear as well as a stiffer rear shock. Triumph says the updates will provide a more controlled ride for both riding solo or with a passenger while brake diving is also reduced.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
