For sale is a 1967 Triumph 650 Tiger (TR6R) Complete and original with all matching numbers. The mileage is 15,291 and will go up as bike is ridden frequently. It has a Boyer Bransden ignition, high output stator for electronic ignition, the original amal carb fitted with an over-sized N.O.S. slide, and gold seal Dunlop tires. There has been some minor rider restoration done, including paint that was duplicated using Glasurit bc/cc. The bike also has a lot of the parts that still retain the stove enameling. The trumpet megaphone exhaust is beautifully tuned. The bike has been meticulously maintained, is mechanically sound, and is a great rider. Selling for a friend who travels a lot and wants to sell his collection. I am helping him. The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. 2012-2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 Recalled in Canada
Mon, 25 Mar 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.
Triumph to Mark 110th Anniversary with Special Edition Bonneville T100
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Triumph will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand with a special edition version of the Bonneville T100. The current Hinckley-based Triumph Motorcycle company has only been around since 1984 but the original Triumph Engineering Co. first began producing motorcycles in 1902.
AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015
Wed, 04 Dec 2013AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
