Triumph Tiger description

You are looking at one sexy looking custom chopper . This is what I call the original style chopper and was built more then twenty years ago. The bike is titled off of the 1950 Triumph 650 Tiger engine. She is truly fun to ride and even after all of this time it still makes a good show piece. She only has a rear brake and it does work properly. The bike was sitting in a private collection for some time and was not being used. I recently just got it running, so she will need gone through before making it a driver. There are signs of use and age. Just take a look at all of the pictures and video to see just how unique she is. Please if you have any concerns or questions please ask before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.  Check out the 36 picture slideshow I provided in the listing and also the one video . I am selling this one at a NO RESERVE starting at one dollar, so don't miss out.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final and full payment is due within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. She can sit here for as long as you need,  but the bike will still have to be paid for in full within the 7 days. Please watch the video, look at all of the pictures, including the slideshow and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.  Thank you and happy bidding!

Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.

Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands

Mon, 29 Aug 2011

Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the  accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.

First Look: Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support

Tue, 02 Nov 2010

I'm predominantly a road rider, so I haven't had much to do with neck braces, until now. I'm heading on the launch of the new Triumph Tiger 800 and there will be a session of light off-roading so I thought this would be a chance to try the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support, mainly to see what it was like for day-to-day use. I hope I don't crash hard enough to test its protection qualities and I don't expect to be clearing any table tops either, but I'm curious to know how I get on with the BNS and whether it feels claustrophobic.
