2012 Triumph Thunderbird Storm ABS for sale.
Asking $6,000 o.b.o. With 1699cc of parallel twin motor, 6 speed transmission, matte black paint, accented black motor and dual headlights the bike rides as sweet as it looks. It goes! and the ABS is there to help you stop! The custom saddle bags with built in indicators give you plenty of space for those longer trips. A removable windshield and removable luggage rack gives you the flexibility to change the look of the bike. The original rear seat is included with the bike but not shown in the photos. I have never had any issues with the bike, it has new rear tire and has had the oil changed every 3,000 miles. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
Castrol Rocket, Gyronaut X-1 and Jason DiSalvo at New York IMS
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.
Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.
